"FILLED WITH COMPASSION"
You wouldn't know what to do with them and you'd drive them all away
Your heart is filled with compassion and this is why you pray
If you reach out your hand and make an attempt to touch their filth
They will be cleansed by Gods love and their hearts will be filled
When you fail you fall short in your mind but God knows your heart
Fear not, go forth and do good anyway, today is your start
Tomorrow won't remember yesterdays blessings, today is a new
This might be a tedious task but blessed are those that follow through
Do you weep at this city as you overlook it from the heights
I pray the stars won't dim, your life has purpose like knights
You have a sword to slay dragons and a shield made of faith
Make no mistake take a hold of what you have and be great with strength
Even though we have left home for the city and it's dreams
The lies sound better than a parents disappointing screams
But as time goes by like the people we meet in our fame
We see hope failed but home still remembers our name
If we take that ride and journey back to our old home
We will be welcomed with open arms no longer will we be alone
Even though I've seen the flaws of authority where I'm safe
I am lawless without them and without them I have no faith
